Here’s a bit I picked up from eavesdropping. I wonder if Paulie knows they worry about him?

“Where’s Paulie?”

“Workin’.”

“Ya know, I don’t think he charges anything!”

“Yeah, ya know he don’t log his hours? I don’t know how he makes any money!”

“When you’re workin’ on-site, at the end of the week, don’t you log your hours?”

“‘Course!” “Of course!”

“That’s what I’m talkin’ about! He don’t log his hours every week and I don’t know how he makes any money.”
